Round Table Discussion with Mona Scott Young

Yes we are back and this time KBP had a chance to meet someone I can honestly say I try to model my career after. KBP was one of the chosen few invited to sit and converse with the one and only Mona Scott Young. Now if your not familiar with the name Mona Scott Young, she is the Executive producer behind Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Love and Hip Hop New York, and now Gossip Game. We were able get the scoop on season 2 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, and from what Mona told us, it will be bigger and better than the first season. Now LHHATL was a monster in the ratings last year, so for them to top that would be amazing. All I can say is I will be watching every week, and even if you won't admit it, you will to.

Mona was very informative and didn't hold anything back, we discussed how she stays grounded, her family life, and the support of her husband. We also talked about what the state of hip hop is now and will be in the future, you will be surprised what MSY had to say. Mona has a 20 year career in management of rap artists like LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent to name a few, so she definitely has the credibility to discuss the music industry. She started Violator management back in the early 90's and helped mold some of the greatest hip hop stars today. She is not new to this game, she a veteran in the game and this is part of why she is so successful now. Check her resume, this lady is a boss in every way. As of today she has 3 hit reality shows under her belt, but it doesn't stop there. MYS will be taking on the big screen soon, with a few projects in development the Mona Scott Young brand is only getting bigger, I think Oprah may have some competition in the years to come. Yeah I said it she on that path to greatness, this is coming from a production perspective and the impact that she is having on her market and industry.

Ms Scott Young started in humble beginnings but is now at the top of her game and her industry, something I aspire to do as well. Ms Scott Young and I also share a Haitian background, and nothing makes me more proud than to see my people doing big things, she is a true inspiration to me and many young entrepreneurs out there, she is very proud of her heritage and even speaks on it in our video. So with that said, as usual you know KBP holds you down with the visuals, please enjoy and absorb the gems that the great Mona Scott Young drops on us.
